Tim Storey

Tim Storey has been involved in the Motion Picture Industry in Canada for 27 years. Working initially in Toronto in the Production department, Tim has been a business agent for three film unions, IATSE 411, Production Coordinators, Craftservice and Honeywagon Operators; The Directors Guild of Canada – Atlantic Regional Council and is currently the Associate Business Agent for the International Cinematographers Guild, IATSE Local 667.

As a Business Agent, Tim has worked on enhancing all aspects of union life in the film industry, from organizing previously unrepresented groups, developing and negotiating contracts for new and existing members and reforming and revitalizing each membership he was been with. Throughout his career, Tim has worked with diverse industry partners on various advisory committees both locally and nationally.

Tim is now participating on projects such as the Section 21 Health and Safety Guidelines, regional training opportunities and CUES – the Canadian Unions for Equity on Screen – looking at gender issues in the Canadian film sector.
