David Rumley – Secretary/Business Agent of IATSE Local 411.

David started his film career as a Craft Service Provider before joining IATSE Local 667 as a Camera Assistant. David worked on the floor as a 2nd Assistant Camera person for 14 years on over 70 productions. In 2011, David became the Business Representative for Local 667 and was re-elected four times, leaving the position in 2022.

He also served as a Trustee of the IATSE 667/669 Health and Welfare Trust for 15 years.

David joined IATSE Local 411 in July of 2025 and was appointed the Business Agent in October of that year. As the BA of Local 411, he continues to represent and advocate for Production Coordinators and Craft Service Providers in the Province of Ontario.

IATSE Local 411 has represented Production Coordinators in the Motion Picture and Television industry since 1988 and Craft Service Providers since 2003. Local 411 is an affiliate of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, which represents over 150,000 members employed in motion pictures, legitimate theatre and trade shows across North America. Local 411 works in tandem with all the other Unions, Guilds and Associations in the Toronto Area and has jurisdiction for its members across the province of Ontario.

In addition to representing these IATSE Locals, David has served as a Board member and past Co-Chair of Film Ontario, an Advisory Board Member and past Chair of the Sheridan College Bachelor of Film and Television Program Advisory Committee, a Board member and past Chair of the Screen Industries Research and Training Center and a Board member of Screen Nova Scotia.
