I have been a health and safety professional for over 27 years in both the private and public sectors, a Canadian Registered Safety Professional practising since 2004. Currently with the Ontario Ministry of Labour Immigration Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) for 22 years in several roles, currently as an Industrial Provincial Specialist with the Fair Safe Healthy Workplace Division providing advice to government, supporting ministry staff and stakeholders. As the Ministry’s representative to the Ontario Film and Television Section 21 committee I am happy and look forward to my work supporting and providing a link between the committee and MLITSD, as they do the important work in developing safe industry practices and guidance in a dynamic sector, as well provide a strong voice to government.
