Don Brown

Don Brown has been the Ontario Ministry of Labour representative on the Section 21 Committee since 1990. He joined the Ministry over 30 years ago as an Occupational Health Engineering Consultant where he made field visits to assess health hazards in industrial workplaces.

Currently Don is a Provincial Specialist with the Industrial Health and Safety Program. In this role he provides assistance and guidance to industrial inspectors to ensure consistent enforcement of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the regulations under the Act.

Don has a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Western Ontario and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Registered Occupational Hygienist and Professional Engineer.
